and why would i celebrate Christian imperialism?

completely by accident i am wearing zero green today, even though it is my favorite color. i will, however, be cheering for a terrorist tonight.

Drat! I have a wedding boutique appt at 5:45. Unless a) I am very fast, b) I see the perfect thing when I walk in the door or c) hate the place as soon as I lay eyes upon it, no V for me with y'all. :/

i OTOH am wearing the big comfy green sweater that was willed to me after [livejournal.com profile] jillybean74 forbade [livejournal.com profile] mort_q from wearing it.

I have consciously avoided green on St. P's day for years for exactly that reason (I know psycho).

My old answer when asked why I was not wearing green was that St. P was unfair to snakes. A nod to the Simpsons but reality. Snakes are just a metaphor for Pagans/non-xtians.

This year it's "I'm not Irish or Catholic."

The snake line goes over better. :)

I suspect a subconscious desire to be pinched.
