last night on the way home, i felt like i should cash a check before i got on the bus. therefore i missed the less-favorable 15 and instead got the 18. then i felt like going to the Hi-Life with the cash in my pocket. where we found
markbourne and
e_bourne, who had just seen Quantum of Solace. so we joined them and had lovely conversation over dinner (mostly about the evolution of Bond).
today we took an express bus in to work. so i was walking to work down Broad, on the far side because of how the walk signals had gone, and i felt like walking through the sculpture park since it was early. there a lost Japanese businessman asked for help and i got him most of the way to the convention center. (not that one, the one on Alaskan Way by the Edgewater. poor guy turned left from his hotel instead of right.)
