in the same way that Big Trouble In Little China is both a spoof of kung-fu movies and a really kickass kung-fu movie, and Shaun of the Dead is a spoof of zombie movies yet also a really excellent zombie movie, Hot Fuzz is a great buddy cop film. and a great mystery. and beautifully plotted and edited. and maybe my favorite Timothy Dalton movie ever.

Hot Fuzz may have the best shootout since The Killers.

how good was it? i'm seriously thinking about going back tomorrow and i almost never see movies in the theater twice.
