i'm weak. questions from [livejournal.com profile] mimerki, and more for you should you ask me.

1) What quality in another person dooms a relationship with you, and why?
hard to quantify. perhaps you could call it disrespect. i strive to be a giver to people i love, and i don't like to couch it as a bargain,
but in return i expect to have a certain level of status with them - i hope they will come to me when they need help, offer confidences, and be honest with me. i should be remembered every now and again. when you get back from a weeklong trip, give me a call, then play videogames with your buddies all day.

i like to think that i'm low-maintainence, but nobody puts Baby in a corner.

2) Since I doubt you are actually addicted to 5-Questions memes, what would you say you are addicted to?
one double tall sugar-free vanilla breve from Caffe Vita every morning. i didn't know until i went on a trip out of town and discovered that i was not only addicted, but a total snob about it.

3) I have a silly schoolgirl crush on Seth Green. Who do you have a silly schoolgirl crush on?
talking famous types? Alton Brown can brine my turkey anytime. especially in his kilt.

4) You list facial hair among your interests. I've got a preference for cleanshaven boys. Sell me on the facial hair.
well, my father has had a beard my entire lifetime, and my brothers one sort or another on and off. so i associate it with male role models. and i like secondary sex characteristics in men and women. true androgyny isn't hot to me, but curvy women and men that are so obviously male? yes please.

facial hair brushes and tickles. when a man with a beard kisses you anywhere, gently, there is the touch of his lips, framed and trailed with those hairs. to use icky romance terms, if the kiss is like fire, then with the facial hair there's a shower of sparks. and it feels the best in locations that aren't worksafe to talk about. but you can get the idea if you get someone friendly to kiss your forehead. gives me shivers.

5) I didn't start reading C.S. Lewis until I ran into The Screwtape Letters. What well-known author did you find through a relatively
obscure book?

my first Anne McCaffrey book was Dragonsong, and is probably still my favorite. (although i think she's now descended into madness and i
only recommend certain of her books to others)
