God, that's good!

it was such a perfect day today. i can't believe that i spent so much of it inside. shame on me. i did, however, hop off the bus early this evening and ramble down the north (ie less ritzy and more homey) slope of Queen Anne.
i'm back from Sweeney Todd, with wine, women, and meat pies. it only took three months to put scarlettina, varina8, webcowgirl, and me in the same room.
last night i caught up with the wonderful Tara, and we talked about everything from the debates to the location of the prostate while i quilted and she cut fabric. we missed each other terribly during the long goodbye - and now it looks like a job offer might send her off to Virginia. ah well. her husband is being actively pursued, and that's pretty freaking exciting.
