Hail to the Halibut!
Oct. 20th, 2003 07:19 pmwe went to Chinook's for dinner on the way home from work and i had halibut cakes and they were goooood. it was quiet in the restaurant (for once) and great to watch the rain on the water and a fishing boat motoring in to park (or whatever the proper term is).
i might have blown my carb count for the day, but oh, it was nice. no fresh mussels today (my favorites); and we decided to skip the oysters since the entree portions are usually huge. it's one of the few pluses of work to be right by Fisherman's Terminal.
i love this weather, makes me want to have cups of hot tea and snuggle. our windchimes are chiming, and i'm in my really comfy pants (like men's pajama bottoms, but in fabric like longjohns).
yay comfy pants!
