What is your favorite pet peeve? (i.e. is there one that you actually enjoy having?)

i am gleefully annoyed when i go to a play and technical details have been overlooked.
some examples:

• a certain local company never irons their dresses. since they do plays where costume helps to indicate, say, royalty, the clothes really shouldn't look like they were left in a pile on the dressing room floor the night before.


• handbags that are flat because there's nothing inside.


• beverages that are the wrong color.


• actors stepping out of their light. (and figuring out if the actor is a roach, the design is bad, the focus hasn't been maintained, or the blocking was adjusted after the cue was written.)

I agree with points two and three.

Points one and four are way beyond my sphere.

OOoh, yeah. In the same vein as the purses are the empty suitcases people effortlessly toss about.
