that thing i've been lugging around for over a year now

this has taken forever, more because of the way i've gone through periods of months of disinterest rather than because the work is truly slow, although i'm glad i haven't tallied the hours i've spent on it. people had a great deal of time on their hands before television.

my first quilt* this is the first project i started, but not the first i've finished :) the washed out stars are actually a bright turquoise. it's lap-sized, a little more than 3'x5'. machine pieced, hand quilted.

quilt detail the color is off, but this is some of the stitching on the border, which is all i have left to do before the interminable process of bias binding begins.
