Lay on mat, lower back flat against the floor. Legs raised with knees at 90° and feet flexed. Arms crossed on chest, do a crunch to lift shoulders off the floor and hold. Extend one leg (out not up) and return, repeat on other side. Keep back flat to floor the entire time. The unmodified exercise also includes an arm movement holding a medicine ball (not sure exactly how that part goes) but it's an extension behind the head
