The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughn Williams was my migraine buster forty years ago. It still cheers me.

ditto on Concerning Hobbits! I remember when the movie first came out, I bought the soundtrack on CD and listened to it on band bus trips when we were all trying to sleep through the night. I always loved the Superman main theme too. It's fun to play in a big group.

I've been binge listening to the soundtrack of the Cats musical (NOT the movie). It's so gloriously overdone and campy. Mind, I'm not entirely sure ALW wasn't on the good stuff when he conceptualised the thing, but.

I like listening to the City Girl - Time Falls Like Moonlight album when my anxiety spikes. Sometimes I can trick my brain into thinking that because the background music has a chill groove, that there is no boss battle about to happen.
