tomorrow night is my last best chance at catching a SIFF film or event. i'm torn.

should i see A World Without Thieves, Alternate Tracks, or Bombon, El Perro?

the last one shows conveniently close to home, but has the least tickets available, so would require my rapid action. the middle one is an event, not a film. the first one has the talents of Andy Lau.

anyone hear some buzz? think there is a better choice i'm missing? (no late shows due to lack of car.)

I do not recommend A World Without Thieves highly unless you'll be satisfied by Andy Lau's leather pants and occasional cigarette smoking. Actually, one of his nemeses is a lot of fun, and the movie isn't bad, it's just not especially good.

I hear mostly good things about Bombon, El Perro, but I haven't seen it.

A year or two back, I attended a seminar similar to "Alternate Tracks" and enjoyed it.
