ironymaideni did not love Rise of Skywalker. it is my least-favorite of the new trilogy. i'll rewatch it when it comes out on home video i suppose. there were many fine moments but i failed to suspend my disbelief more often than not. not really what i wanted considering that Star Wars was my first movie in the theater; it's odd to feel like the story that unfolded across my lifetime dribbled to an okay end.*
fortunately i have The Mandelorian, and all of Clone Wars and Rebels to rewatch. plus my game group is gearing up to switch from doing a D&D setting playtest to an Edge of the Empire game.
*i decided not to write about why it's only okay. i don't need to dwell on it and i don't need to harsh other people's squee.
