there is a longer story to tell about how it all came together, but the important thing is that i finished my first week at new employer The Eyrie, i love them and they love me.

i bought my monthly bus pass on the way home and this weekend i sticker up my laptop and figure out the touchbar.

trying to parse "figure out the touchbar".

it's a feature of the current Macbooks. i've never had one new enough to have one. it's a strip of touchscreen where the function keys would be that displays different functions based on context. i've ignored it all week (since i mostly work docked) but if it would make me more proficient with the laptop in meetings, that would be good.

are two great tastes that go well together.

(Touchbars usually have a fingerprint sensor, which means no more typing passwords.)
