the worldbuilding and the prose are really lovely, but from my perspective
not enough happened in terms of plot or character development. this is
exactly why I was ultimately disappointed with JS&MN, which I did read to
the end.
you know, as I think about it, JS&MN would have been more effective as an
RPG setting.
