and when they say "yoool-uh-fest-uh" they aren't being ironic
C has returned to Yulefest in the pouring rain (with more cash) so that i can have *both* of the cashmere shawls. (this has simplified his birthday shopping. i had to promise that i would wear them to the opera. twist. my. arm.)
also, if you are not aware of the little pocket of awesome that is the Nordic Heritage Museum, this is prime time for cookies and lefse and beautiful handmade gifts and elderly white people in stunning sweaters who aren't speaking english. (we weren't there long enough for the choirs or the accordion music.) if you like that sort of thing.
