pain lies on the riverside
a couple bands i loved when i was in college are playing in the area this summer.
i saw them then. those concerts are shiny memories. i don't care much for where their music has gone since.
so why do i want to buy tickets now?

I had Throwing Copper on cassette and picked up their "best of" CD a couple of years ago.

Blues Traveler is on the same bill. i'm actually recognizable in a Rolling Stone photo from a show in 1993. i have one of Chan Kinchla's guitar picks floating around the house somewhere. i lost interest around the time John got WLS and Bobby died.

no.
(okay, i really liked the Weird Al "White Stuff" song. i want to say that was based on one of their songs?)
