If you're having the same trouble this year with allergies, you might try Allegra. It's still prescription in the US, unlike Claritin. It's non-prescription in some countries, sometimes under the name Telfast – I seriously stocked up when we visited Australia. Claritin works for me too, but I like Allegra better overall, in part because I can tune the dose more easily to minimize side effects (mainly excessive dryness for me, at times).
