the show can be very intense, but that's one of the things i like about it - it talks about experiences that we don't talk about on television. (there's a song about UTIs, and a song about having heavy boobs, and a not-quite-a-song about period sex. i have no idea how this thing got greenlighted nor how it's been allowed to finish its planned four seasons. but yay, i've loved Rachel Bloom since "Fuck Me, Ray Bradbury".)
