My shitty mutant power is that I interfere with radio reception when at extremely short range. The summer I worked a job painting houses, the foreman banned me from working anywhere near the boombox because I'd make the music staticky.

not exactly me, but...my family kills digital watches. both my brother and my grandmother could disrupt a digital wristwatch within a few days. my brother can send a plasma globe wild without making contact - it starts throwing filaments when his hand is about 8 inches away.
