Yeah, I keep telling that to G. (I should point out that I don't think he's ever owned a dog. He did have cats as a child, before his allergy appeared.) He wants a puppy so we can train it from the beginning. I don't want a puppy because I have firsthand experience of how puppies (I had a Samyoed as a child) and kittens are nightmares :P

We do often say that while we're attracted to certain breeds, we'll probably get something from a rescue, so maybe I can talk him into an older one ;)

But hopefully that won't be for a few years yet. I'm not in a hurry for Sheba to leave us.
