so i was checking The Warren Report and there's a panel coming up in June on black science fiction films.
and i thought what, Lando Calrissian and Yaphet Kotto's character in Alien, discuss? perhaps there's a whole world of films i'm missing, but it seems to me a genre that is devoid of pigment. which is a crime, since there are some truly kickass black genre writers.
and then i thought about what the crowd looked like at Norwescon. even whiter than Seattle in general. i'm not sure what it means.
